Show authors biography
Cooperativism represents one of the organizational structures characteristic of modernity and characteristic of contemporary capitalist societies. In Argentina, the first cooperative trials are explained in the framework of the arrival of European leaders who accredit an important trajectory in mutualistic and community practices. Regarding credit cooperativism, it is developed through five historically different modalities, among which the Credit Units (CC). This work, carried out on the basis of a case study, has the general purpose of making a new contribution to the knowledge of the CC that operates in Río Cuarto as of November 1965, the date of its institutional creation. The specific objective of this work is therefore to analyze the social composition of the riocuartense CC and its identity configurations at the foundational moment. The sources are journalistic, semi-structured interviews and the cooperative publication Acción, founded on April 1, 1966
