PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE JOURNAL
The Advances in Health Journal of the Universidad de Córdoba, Colombia, is oriented to the area of Health Sciences, with different disciplines that deal with the doing of healthy environments. Where the scientific community is involved in the field of health. The periodicity, regularity and especially the gear with the authors that generate knowledge in the field of public health and related areas.
Keep in mind that all articles published in this scientific journal have their respective DOI, so they will always be available on the web. In addition, the Universidad de Córdoba has a repository in which all the scientific production generated in the institution can be found.

THE JOURNAL EDITORIAL POLICY
Advances in Health accepts and complies with the guidelines established by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) (www.icmje.org), Equator Network (http:// www.equator-network.org/), and by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) (http:// publicationethics.org/) This is a way to ensure the quality of scientific publications, their transparency, integrity, and proper safeguards of the ethical principles regulating biomedical research.
The authorship policy of Advances in Health adopts the guidance of the ICMJE. This Committee points out that the authorship credit must be based only on:

ARTICLE TYPES
Advances in Health of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Córdoba publish scientific publications, written in Spanish and English, in the following categories:
1. Original article: An article reporting in detail on the original results of research projects in health or related areas. The structure used should contain an introduction, methodology, results, discussion, conclusions, and references. The minimum number of references is 20.
2. Review article: An article resulting from research in which the results of an investigation in the field of science or technology are analyzed, systematized and integrated to publish progress and development trends. The article includes a careful bibliographical review of up to 50
3. Reflection article: An article presenting the results of an investigation carried out from an analytical, interpretative or critical perspective of the author, on a particular theme, using original It is based on an bibliographical revision of up to 50 references.

PREPARATION AND ARTICLE SUBMISSION
The authors will prepare the document taking into account the following recommendations:
