The purpose of this article is to visualize the study carried out in the context of the educational institution Cecilia de Lleras, where was designed and implemented a methodological strategy (MIIRADA Methodology) to strengthen the processes of teaching- learning in students with visual disabilities. For this, characteristics of the constructivist, cognitive and connectivist model were included to work on the autonomy, the collaborative work and the cognitive development of the student. In addition, informative and communicative technologies were incorporated as reasonable adjustments or supporting tools that facilitated the learning process of blind students. The final product was framed in the universal design standard for the learning process, with an active, dynamic and interactive methodology that mediates the teaching-learning processes.
