Our magazine is a strategy designed to broadcast the progress and results of research achievements in the thematic fields of education and pedagogy, extended to the field of social and human sciences. Its recognition and influence is projected in the Colombian Caribbean with links at the national, Latin American and international levels in the broadest horizon of interaction.
Assensus (from Latin) is defined as "the assent of the intellect to the truth of a proposition." According to our interpretation, we adopt this name due to the attributes it grants: Assensus is the credibility we give to someone who tells us something to which we assent, because that someone has shown that they are recognized, and that something makes sense from the research activity, so that granting that recognition is very reasonable. That is the category and the status we hope to achieve in the authors and their articles when they are approved and published in this journal.
