This article shows the results of the research project “Student social representations of the student practices of the Physic Education of the University of Córdoba and Social work of the University of Quindío”. Inside of it, it is showed the practice as a stage of opportunities, learning, of the theoretical confrontation and a transformation of realities. At the same way, it has been uncovered fears, apprehensions, expectations and cognitive instable  equilibriums that the students feel when they aboard their professional formation practice. The theoretical foundation from what the social representations theory is supported in the procedural focus of Denise Jodelet and in the reflective practice theories of Donald Schön and Philippe Perrenoud.
